But the seat is made so solid that the fine material used does weight a lot, in fact the seat weighs 25 pounds. The seats are easy to install and also easy to clean. Most all the parents report that their children love this seat and that it is absolutely the best booster seat out there. Several parent own multiples of this seat for each child or in different vehicles to make it easy to switch cars.
